This was a unique and heartbreaking process. Jim and I met with the couple several times and then got word from their Realtor that the husband had passed. No one would have had any issue with halting this project, however, the land was purchased and the wife was determined to relocate back to the metro. This also was not the first build for this client. She had built, I believe, 9 homes prior to this one and is very comfortable and competent with construction and design. With the support of her team of Teal Creek Homes and her very good friend and Realtor, we navigated the design process and helped her discover her own style for this new haven. It was a beautiful process, with both laughter and tears. Loved this home, location and building a relationship with such a strong, lovely and authentic person.
